Hillis Visit Time

We had a wonderful time visiting with NorCal Family.
We got several days with the Hillis Clan!

We had one lunch where many were able to come
and for the one and only day Greg was with me and the kids in Folsom!

Grandpa Hillis has a special place in my heart!
There is no one quite like him!
He will ask questions to take conversations to a new depth.
He will whistle and sing hymns and praises
while cleaning the kitchen, making breakfast, or cleaning up after the dog.

Grandpa-
what an inspiration you are to your children and grandchildren!
Thank you for choosing to leave such a legacy!
Your knowledge of the Lord
your relationship with the Holy Spirit
your desire to be a learner and study-er no matter your age.
Thank you for sharing that part of your life with me.
Love you!!

Tirzah could be nicknamed "Baby Snatcher" =)
I love watching her play with my kids!

I got to see Auntie El
(Grandpa's sister)
several times while we were there

And we got to meet Baby Zane!
He was just turning a month old,
and it was AMAZING to see how big Robbie looked
next to this lil' newborn.
That was only 8 months ago that he was so lil'...
Crazy how much they change so fast!

Robbie had some sweet moments with Grandma Hillis.
She has blessed me so much.
Her fervor to pray for her grandkids
is awe inspiring and heart warming
as well as effective and beautiful.

Grandma-
What a treasure you are to this family.
Thank you for praying for each of us,
for praying for our spouses, our babies, our friends,
for lifting each of us up on a daily basis.
What an encouragement to know you have placed us in
the Father's hands!
I love you!

We went to Starbucks
-= a daily visit for my grandparents =-
twice with them!
Funny story:
I ordered Tay a kid's milk with a shot of chocolate
and when I went to get it
she was SO stoked!
She took a BIG sip and her face turned sour.
Then she very loudly exclaimed,
"I don't LIKE it!"
I thought that odd, so I tried it quickly
and exclaimed,
"Eww, they gave her coffee!"
Turns out they had put a pump of MOCHA instead of CHOCOLATE!
We got her a new one and she was as happy as a clam!

She spent the rest of that Starbucks trip
bonding with Great Grandma Hillis!

Robbie hung out with Great Grandpa Hillis.
I love how they have practically the same expression in this photo!

This is a table and chairs set
that ALL of us grandchildren used at the Hillis' house
and now they have it out for the great grands!
Taylor and I enjoyed some lemonade and a snack several times!

What a privilege to tell my children
that they are related to the two of you!

I love this family!

Truly Blessed!
